About Terramycin

Terramycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is available in two dosage forms: as an ophthalmic ointment and as tablets.

Terramycin ophthalmic ointment is prescribed to help combat a variety of eye infections such as:

• including pink eye.
• inflamed cornea.
• corneal ulcer and inflammation of the eyelids.

These infections can cause pain, irritation, irregular tear production, among other issues. 

Terramycin (Oxytetracycline HCI) Scours Tablets are orally-administered tablets to treat and control beef and dairy calves for:

• Bacterial pneumonia associated with Pasteurella multocida (pasteurellosis or shipping fever complex)
• Bacterial enteritis associated with E. coli (colibacillosis) or Salmonella typhimurium
