Telmisartan is an oral tablet prescribed for the treatment of hypertension also known as high blood pressure. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. It can help control high blood pressure in dogs and cats (liquid form).
Possible Side Effects
Telmisartan is a relatively new medication for pet use, the full side effects profile has yet to be described. Upset stomach (vomiting, diarrhea, appetite loss) should be reported to your veterinarian if persistent.
