Uses
Tobramycin is used for topical therapy of external eye infections—it stops the growth of bacteria and the spread of infections.
Possible Side Effects
Please contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice any of the following reactions: hypersensitivity or localized ocular toxicity, including lid itching and swelling or conjunctival erythema (red eye).

Notify your veterinarian of any other medications, including vitamins and supplements, your pet is taking before using this medication.
Precautions
Tobramycin should not be used in animals with known allergies to any of its components.
This drug is FDA-approved for human use. However, it is common practice for veterinarians to prescribe such drugs for use in dogs, cats and horses.
