Your furry friend must have a current heartworm test result on file with your veterinarian in order to be prescribed heartworm medication. Please visit your veterinarian to have this test performed annually to protect your four-legged friend. VetriShield Plus is a prescription medication for dogs that protects against heartworm disease and treats hookworm and roundworm infections. VetriShield Plus is a flavored, chewable tablet that contains ivermectin and pyrantel, and provides 30 days of parasite protection for your dog. For use in dogs six weeks of age and older. Available in three sizes for dogs up to 25lbs, 26-50lbs, and 51-100lbs

Uses
Used to prevent heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae for a month (30 days) after infection and for the treatment and control of heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.

Possible Side Effects	Please contact your veterinarian if the following adverse reactions occur: depression/lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, mydriasis, ataxia, staggering, convulsions, and hypersalivation.
Drug & Food Interactions	Talk to your veterinarian about any other drugs your pet is taking before starting this medication.
Precautions	All pets should be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting treatment, which is not effective against adult heartworm. Infected pets must be treated to remove adult heartworms and microfilariae before initiating a program with this medication. While some microfilariae may be killed, this medication is not effective for microfilariae clearance. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of ingestion, contact your physician immediately. Physicians may contact a Poison Control Center. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
Storage Instructions	Store at temperatures of between 68° – 77°F and protect from light. Excursions permitted between 59° – 86°F.
