Triamcinolone Acetonide Injectable Suspension USP, 40mg/ml also known by the brand name Kenalog 40 (40mg/ml) and Kenalog 10 (10mg/ml) is an injectable steroid used to treat inflammation, immune suppression and pain in dogs, cats and horses. It may also be prescribed for the management and treatment of acute arthritis as well as allergy and skin conditions.
This drug is FDA-approved for human use. However, it is common practice for veterinarians to prescribe such drugs for use in dogs, horses and cats.
