Description
A fluoroquinolone designed for the management of bacterial diseases, with broad-spectrum activity against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria including those causing dermal, respiratory and urinary tract infections. Each mL of injectable solution contains 22.7 mg of enrofloxacin. Enroflox Injection is available for dogs only.

| Possible Side Effects | In rare instances, use of this product has been associated with retinal toxicity. To avoid negative side effects, take exactly as directed by your veterinarian. Enrofloxacin is contraindicated in pets known to be allergic to quinolones (a type of antibiotic). |
| Drug & Food Interactions | Ceftriaxone may interact with other medications. Consult with your veterinarian to determine if other drugs your pet is receiving could interact with cefoxitin. Such drugs include certain other antibiotics. |
| Precautions | Keep away from children and animals. Resistance is a major concern when giving antibiotics. Resistance occurs when bacteria survive and mutate and are then able to survive even after antibiotics are given. To help avoid any resistance, it is important to give antibiotics as they are prescribed for as long as they are prescribed even if your pet is looking and feeling better. |
| Contraindications | Enrofloxacin is contraindicated in dogs known to be hypersensitive to quinolones. The safe use of enrofloxacin has not been established in large and giant breeds during the rapid growth phase. The use of enrofloxacin is contraindicated in small and medium breed dogs during the rapid growth phase (between 2 and 8 months of age). WARNINGS: For use in animals only. The use of this product in cats may result in Retinal Toxicity. Keep out of reach of children. Observe label directions and see product labeling for full product information. |
